→Roost Augenoptik AG has dedicated an entire booth to →Blackfin at the Schaffhausen Autumn Fair. As an official distributor of the eyewear manufacturer, Roost makes the glasses stand out in this animations.

SOED illustrated their trip to the manufacture of Blackfin in a 3D animation. In different sequences, the manufacturing steps are brought into focus.

The base material for the frames is titanium. It is as tough as steel but weighs less and it is twice as strong as aluminium.

53 steps are necessary to produce a finished pair of eyewear. This includes laser cutting, polishing and spraying, among other things.
