THE CIRCLE, designed by architect Riken Yamamoto, is the connecting element between the airport and the park. While the slightly sloping facade facing the airport takes up the curvature of the terminals and is mostly closed, it opens up towards the green space.
→ Cubera Solutions AG is an IT-Studio based in Zurich. The Flughafen Zürich AG commissioned them to develop an app for the Circle, which served as the base for this project.
SOED developed in cooperation with Cubera Solutions AG the augmented reality part of the app. Originally conceived to display a 3d model, the order expanded to include other functionalities, such as the display of hotspots and tenant occupancy. SOED created the design concept, 3d model and basic functionalities of the AR-app.
