In the beginning there was plain sheet metal. Pure craftsmanship forms this raw material into a sculpture. Each step from laser cutting to bending is carefully executed by a swiss metal factory.
→KreativKonsum – Carina Fischer and Lukas Baumgartner, two product designers based in Zurich, Switzerland, designed this award for →GDS.FM. They realise projects in the fields of product development, user centered design, game and educational design, scenographic design and graphics.
As for the visuals, the goal was to to illustrate each manufacturing step in an abstract way. From smoke – to fluid simulations, the whole video is entirely done in 3D.
